Our select group of investors entrust Anthology Capital with structuring and managing commercial real estate investments on their behalf. G. Evan Bennett is the Founder & Managing Partner of Anthology Capital.
Prior to founding Anthology Capital, G. Evan Bennett was a Commercial Real Estate Loan Originator at Chase Commercial Term Lending and a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser at both CBRE and Kidder Mathews. His responsibilities at Chase included marketing, analyzing, and originating commercial term loans for income-producing multi-family, industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use properties located in select West Coast markets. At CBRE and Kidder Mathews, he formed well-supported value conclusions for commercial properties located in the Pacific Northwest. His primary focus in this role was appraising industrial, office, and retail properties.
In addition to his role at Anthology Capital, he is the current Secretary General of the FIABCI World Council of Experts. Founded in Paris, France in 1951, FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, is a nonprofit trade association that currently has 49 national and multi-national chapters around the world. It’s a cross-disciplinary network of real estate professionals, spanning across five continents and including more than 70 countries. The World Council of Experts is a committee that works to provide FIABCI members in the commercial real estate sector with meaningful benefits, services, and ongoing access to global business opportunities.
Perhaps his most unique life experience so far was living in Japan for 13 years as a young adult. Although he did reside in Tokyo for the first couple of years, the majority of his time in Japan was in Sapporo, the capital city of the northern island of Hokkaido. Thanks to being immersed in the language and culture for so many years, as well as actively studying all the while, he’s comfortable communicating in Japanese in most situations.
